another song i discovered and liked during college. i liked the melody being played by 3 different guitarists, especially the part when they crank the distortion on the solo/octave part. and of course, the chorus just rents space in my head.

another song i discovered and liked during college. great hooks, and the bass line is catchy too. when i first saw this video, i thought these guys would look geeky and not Blind Melon-esque. oh well, i guess i was wrong.

one of the long lost songs that i first heard and really liked during my college days (1995-2000 to the curious). this song had great hooks and a melody that grows on you. i merged a video i got from YouTube with the audio track that i got at some fan site. Fig Dish is one of several bands that got exposure in the Philippines (as far as i know) only because of one song. other bands i could think about are Dig and Seed, and i hope i could post a couple of their videos. in the meantime, i hope you enjoy this. i threw in the lyrics for good measure.

This is a promotional video for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling's 2008 LockDown pay-per-view, featuring the song "Nothing to Lose by Operator. All matches in this pay-per-view were contested inside the Six Sides of Steel. The main event was a match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship between the champion Kurt Angle and the challenger - The Samoan Submission Machine - Samoa Joe. This was essentially a Title versus Career match - if Joe wins, he would be the TNA World Heavyweight Champion, if he loses, he would have to retire from professional wrestling. What's it going to be?
