i heard this song just last Monday, and it became an instant favorite of mine. sabi ng best friend kong si Alex, lumang kanta na raw ng Radiohead ito. na-bring up lang ito kasi nag-jam kami nung linggo kina Kiko and we arranged Alex's song "Like Hate", and ipinarinig ko sa kanya ang isa kong chord pattern na matagal ko nang dini-develop for a song. sabi ni Alex, katunog daw nung "True Love Waits"yung chord pattern kong yun. when i listened to the song, may similarities nga - and pareho silang malungkot pakinggan. ewan ko ba kung bakit gandang-ganda ako sa mga tragic songs - when i heard this, i got hooked immediately. i posted the lyrics as well, for the curious and for the melancholy-mooded. here he is, the great Thom Yorke and Radiohead...
